Edward Cullen+REO Speedwagon=heaping spoonfull of awesome

The only thing better than when he plays the guitar made of a car key and string is the random unicorn at the end. Best fan-made video ever.

Have a great day!

An abbreviated New Moon Monday

Today was super busy at work, and overall I have very little to report (but tomorrow I will have a Twilight-related Youtubesday that anyone would enjoy). Anyway, Rob and Kristen are still alive and still working on their respective movies. Here are the pictures to prove it.
Photobucket
I believe that is the crooked grin Bella was always going ga-ga for. Although the scruff is totally Un-Edward like.
Kristen and Dakota are pretty much unrecognizable in these pictures. It seems they have completely immersed themselves in their roles. Can't wait to see the Runaways movie!

Here is a quote from Billy Burke (aka Charlie Swan) when asked about Rob's success: "He's worth the hype. Rob's talented, honest, funny, and professional. Most importantly, he doesn't let the fame get to his head. What you see is what you get with the kid. And he's a complete pleasure to be around."
Let's say it all together now: awww! How nice.
Click
HERE to read what Mike Welch (aka Mike Newton) has to say about filming the three-way date in New Moon.
Click
HERE to see an awesome interview with Ashley Greene. I just love her. The highlight for me is the fact that she is wearing a ring on her left ring finger which she says was part of her costume for New Moon (a ring that Jasper gave Alice). So sweet. That's all for today! Have a great night!

RIP Michael Jackson: Friday's Fun Fearless Male

1958-2009
What can be said that hasn't already been said? I stand by my statement that this is a Bummer Summer. Often imitated but never duplicated, Michael Jackson truly was the King of Pop. He was eccentric to say the least, but nobody could claim to be more talented. He was fearless when it came to performing. He crossed many barriers and laid the ground work for artists like Justin Timberlake. He revolutionized music videos. I mean, really, does it get any better than Thriller? I think not. He was an incredible performer, but lets not forget about the beauty of the music he created. There is no other artist in history that could match the perfection of Off The Wall, Thriller, or Bad. He came out with all three of these albums in a row before he was thirty. Genius is an understatement.
Michael had an incredible impact on my life. Bad was the first tape I ever had. I remember putting it in my tape deck and dancing around my room, trying to moonwalk in my socks. I also remember wondering why Michael was so concerned with the "Man in the Middle." I believe I was around 12 before I realized he was saying "Man in the Mirror." I'm pretty sure that somewhere in my parents house there is a recording of me singing my version of that song-it was my fave even though I obviously had no idea what it was about. I have fond memories of getting to stay up late with my whole extended family (is it possible that we all got together just to watch it?) and watching the premiere of the video for "Black and White". And I have been told that I once told my grandmother that I wanted to be Mrs. Michael Jackson.
When I was 4 1/2 and kindergarten was fast approaching, my mom started to worry about the fact that I was still sucking my thumb. She had tried everything to rid me of the habit. She finally decided that bribery was the only option. We made a deal that she would pay me 10 cents a day every day I went without sucking my thumb. But when I was asleep, I kept falling back into the habit. So Mom got me to wear a sparkly glove on my right hand (thus covering up my right thumb, the one I always sucked) at night by convincing me I was cool like Mike. It worked like a charm.
It makes me incredibly sad that he is gone. I feel so bad for his poor children. I also have to stay that I'm so sickened with Perez Hilton. I recommend everybody stay away from his website (I have taken away the link in my sidebar). He is a hypocrite and never seems to learn from his mistakes. He is a poisonous person who honestly never breaks any news which is kind of horrible when he runs a gossip site. He has never had an original thought. Go to D Listed if you want up-to-the minute gossip from someone with a soul and a real sense of humor.
I think it says a lot about MJ that after his death it seems we all feel the need to relay stories of our personal experiences with Michael's music. He was one of those artists who truly connected with his fans and had an incredible impact on the lives of fans around the world. We all idolized him.
And when you want to get people on the dance floor, there is absolutely nothing better than one of Michael's songs. Check out this video of 1,500 plus inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, Cebu, Philippines at practice!

Let's dance in his honor this weekend!
Love,
Elle Bunny
P.S. RIP Farrah Fawcett. Farrah meant so much to so many people. She used her voice to speak out on the battle that she and so many others were fighting. What I think is truly remarkable is the fact that she was a spokeswoman for the importance of screening and early detection in fighting cancer long before she ever received a cancer diagnosis. I like to think that yesterday she received a promotion and now she's not just one of Charlie's Angels, but one of God's Angels.

Bummer Summer?

Has anybody else been completely bummed out by the news and television this summer? At this point the only thing getting me through to Labor Day is So You Think You Can Dance. Everything else gives me a major case of the sads or the bitchface.
Exhibit A:
Jon & Kate Plus 8.

I thought I was over these bitches and fine with them getting divorced and going off into non-televised oblivion. But then they showed the footage of the kids when they were babies and I'm not made of stone, so it brought a tear to my eye. And now I'm kind of curious what will happen when they come back from hiatus. I stand by my previous statement that Jon & Kate Plus 8 is more depressing than Intervention.
But at least I have The Little Couple to tide me over. I've decided that if the LC (as I like to call the Little Couple) were average sized, I would be annoyed by them. But because they are little, I like them and think they are cute. Kind of a reverse discrimination. An old friend of mine is scared to death of midgets, so I guess this just kind of evens things out for them.
Exhibit B:
Rob Pattinson keeps getting attacked by fangirls and taxi-cabs.
This bums me out and makes me worried for his safety. Knowing his fear of being stabbed I'm sure he his currently in his own personal version of hell. And KStew is stuck far away on the west coast, with this hair: and giving us further proof as to why she was picked to play Bella Swan:

I always laugh when I see someone fall, then I feel bad for laughing and end up crying. But that uncomfortable cry where you're laughing the whole time and feel like you are going to pee in your pants. Does anyone else feel this way?
Exhibit C:
Real Housewives of New Jersey. It's over. No more table flipping for at least another six months. Yes, they are currently showing the reunion shows, but the ladies don't seem as fired up as they did before, although I'm looking forward to the 2nd part of the finale; looks like there will be some major dramz there.

So yeah, other than that: Economic downturn, everybody seems to be losing their job and their house, North Korea is threatening to bomb Hawaii, people are being killed in Iran for protesting the fact their votes were totally ignored in an election that was fixed. All in all, I would say it's been a crazy summer. But as Americans, we are conditioned to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and find a solution for each problem. We could always send Danielle from RHONJ over to North Korea; I guarantee the majority of the leadership over there would give up and kill themselves after spending 20 minutes listening to that woman complain about how Dina must have been the one who revealed the fact that she was written about in Cop Without A Badge.
And I think the best things we could do for the citizens of Iran is force the Ayatollah Khomeini and Ahmadinejad to both marry Kate Gosselin. Chances are, they would both give up as well (they may even look into moving into Trump Towers).Another note on Peace in the Middle East: if they really want to find Osama bin Laden, they should just sic Twilighters (especially Twilight Moms) on him. Tell them that Rob will make out with them if the find Osama. I would bet someone $10 (the only expendable money I have at the moment) that he would be found within 2 weeks.
And if all else fails, it's hard to beat the ultimate healing powers of So You Think You Can Dance.

Have a great day!

Love,
Elle Bunny

Why are they famous?

1) Paris Hilton. Does anyone actually like her? She has a perfume. Who is buying it?
2) Heidi and Spencer. They were on that "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here" show and everybody talks about them all the time. I don't think they are celebrities. Why does anyone care about them?
3) Miley Cyrus. JUST GO AWAY. (This pic makes me giggle though. It can stay).
4) Katy Perry. Her songs are mediocre, she would look better if she let her hair go back to her natural color, and everybody goes on and on about her being provocative because she sang about kissing a girl. Funny, I remember a song by the same title coming out 13 years ago. In fact, after searching YouTube, I found a very grainy video of Jill Sobule's "I Kissed a Girl" being featured on Beavis and Butthead.
Memo Re: Katy Perry-you are not original.
5) Lady GaGa.
Her songs are catchy. I think she's kind of funny in interviews. But why is anyone taking her opinion on the world seriously? She makes poppy music about dancing and poker faces. And this recent quote about the Jonas Brothers:
“I love The Jonas Brothers, they’re very talented. I met them once. I’d like to have a foursome with them.”
Well, that just makes me want to vom. But I don't understand why you are famous. It's not like I knew who the members of La Bouche were.
Do you have anybody that you feel this way about? Is there someone you see on television and wonder why they are there?
Have a great day!

Youtubesday: Facercise

Michael K recently introduced me to Carol Maggio who is the creator of Facercise (she served as his Hot Slut Of The Day! last Wednesday). This is a video from Everything is Terrible of Carol showing her exercise technique.

This is amazing. I can't believe this exists. Even more shocking is that the "rich and famous" are paying thousands of dollars for her to teach them this shit. Not only that, she appeared on "Geraldo" and the "Mike & Matty Show." OMG, I loved that show. And the theme song (does anybody else remember it? Call me if you would like me to sing it to you. Too bad I'm not able to find any videos on YouTube of that show. But rest assured, I will be singing the theme song to myself for the rest of the day.

Austinites: What do you think the chances are that Carol is related to Judy Maggio? I think it is likely they are sisters, or at least cousins. No wonder Judy's face is in such good shape.

Have a great day!

I LOVE YOU! You're Rude :(

This is a note that was left on Rob Pattinson's car while he filmed a scene in NY. It makes me giggle.
If for some reason you aren't able to read the glow-in-the-dark light blue pen it says:
Dear Robert,
I LOVE YOU!
You're Rude :(
Love Always,
???nna &
Nicole
The only thing missing is "Do you love me? Check yes or no". I'm praying that this was written by a pre-teen and not a mother. And can they really call him rude? I saw the video from that day (I know, that's weird, but whatever. At least I'm not on set bothering him) and he just ignored them. He has to work. And the day before he got hit by a cab (but not hurt) trying to walk across the street (there is some debate as to whether or not he was being chased by the fangirls. But let's just assume that he was probably being less than observant because he was probably trying to avoid being strangled by fangirls). Oh, Bert.
Very nice. Anyway, I can't wait to see this movie. At this point, I'm praying that he makes it through the filming unscathed. And I encourage folks who happen to be visiting NYC to avoid visiting the set of Remember Me. If you want to meet Rob, wait for one of the fan events (premieres, Hot Topic tours, Today Show appearances, etc).
In other news, filming finally started on The Runaways today.

Her jeans are made of awesome. This movie looks interesting as well.

Not much else to report. Hope everyone has a great New Moon Monday!

Teresa Giudice is Friday's Fun Fearless Female

If you have no idea who I am talking about, take a second to watch this video from the Real Housewives of New Jersey finale:

The one screaming "Prostitution Whore!"--that's Teresa Guidice. She is hilarious. She just got her "bubbies" done and she and her husband Joe are first-generation Italian-Americans. She has three daughters named Gia, Gabriella, and Milania. She will have her fourth child in September (she doesn't know what she's having yet). Guess her "delicious and juicy" husband Joe liked the bubbies. She has come out with her own line of clothing and accessories called TG Fabulicious (check it out at http://www.teresagiudice.com/). The stuff is kind of tacky and Jersey but at least it is reasonably priced, unlike Lynne with her stupid $300 cuffs.

Teresa was the source of comic relief on the show and never had an attitude--until she flipped the table over. As many times as I have jokingly said "I will flip the table over," I have never actually seen someone do that in "real" life. I think she must have been pushed to her breaking point and just went off on Danielle. And who could blame her? Bitch is crazy.

Oh, and Danielle? How come when you were talking to your daughters you mentioned three things from the book were true-you used to be a stripper, you changed your name and you got arrested; yet when you were talking at the "last supper" you only admitted to the last two? I'm with Teresa-there has to be something else.

This show is by far the best of the Real Housewives franchise. For one thing, they had an all-out screaming match between all of the ladies in the last episode of the season. While many of the other housewives have ongoing fights, they rarely actually talk to each other about it, and even if they do they've never had anything like this.

Also, these ladies are the closest thing to Real Housewives. They actually have kids, and the majority of them stay at home and cook and take care of said kids. Mind you, their houses are mansions and their kids are auditioning for movies with the Rock, but they are actually housewives. I thought it was kind of sweet on the next-to-last episode when Teresa said that she cooks Monday-Thursday and they go out to eat every Friday night at their favorite restaurant. Who knows if that's true, but I would be more likely to believe it coming from her than Laurie from the OC.

Here is a clip from the upcoming RHONJ reunion show.

I can't wait! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

5 things you never knew about me

By the end of this, you may wish I had kept it that way. And if you are my bff or related to me than you may already know the majority of these. But you never know, you might find some of these things surprising.
1) Out of all the US Presidents, I find Abraham Lincoln the most attractive. I'm not sure why. I know he's not conventionally good looking, like JFK, but I still like him. I think it has something to do with how tall he is. And the beard. I'm a fan of beards. And the rumors of Liam Neeson playing him in an upcoming biopic are made of win.
2) I've never eaten a Twinkie. Or Spam. Just looking at either one makes me want to vom.
3) I know all of the State postal abbreviations and capitals. I can also tell you what state you're in if you give me the zip code. In addition, I'm able to name most of the area codes in Florida and Texas. Ah, the joys of working in a national call center.
4) When I was 10 years old I talked with Leonardo Dicaprio on the phone. My cousin was in a movie with him and they became friends. My cousin called me and my sister and we sat at our kitchen bar and chatted with Leo. This was before Romeo and Juliet or Titanic. While I would love to claim we had an in-depth discussion about the role of violence in movies or how he enjoyed working with Bobby DeNiro, that was not the case. He asked me what my favorite soft drink was and if I rode horses to school. Apparently I was a real conversationalist at 10, so I asked him what his favorite soft drink was (for inquiring minds, it's Sprite) and giggled for about five minutes after he asked about the horses. I think this is all that can be expected of a conversation between a girl of 10 and a movie star of 20. For the record: my cousin is no longer acting in movies. He currently works at Home Depot.
5) I swallow gum. I know it's supposedly bad for you, but I haven't died yet. I think the whole staying in your system for 10 years is a myth. My sister swallows her gum as well. And it's a hard habit to break. I'm not sure why we started doing it--my mom always got mad at us when we did it. We were odd children. To bring things full circle, I also have a distinct memory of swallowing a penny as a young child (and throwing it up afterwards). And my presidential boyfriend, Honest Abe is on the penny.
Have a great day!

Youtubesday: Emo Kid is throwing Slow-Mo Dove at my face

It's very likely that you've already seen this video or one of the other Literal 80's videos. But if you haven't seen this one yet, you should watch it as it is the best of the bunch.

I could watch this on repeat all day.
RPattz update:
First, the bad news: the Twihards went effing crazy in NYC yesterday and attacked him on the street when he was in between filming scenes of his new movie Remember Me. Here's the video.

Bitches are crazy. Poor Bert. I wouldn't blame him if he became a hermit after all of this Twilight stuff is over with. Second piece of bad news: Tombert will not be starring in this movie together. The part of Aidan will be played by this guy:

Not bad, but not how I pictured him. Because I'm a dork I pictured Kellan Lutz the whole time I read the script. I was thrilled at the idea of Tom playing Aidan, even though it was quite a switch. This actor is reportedly named Tate Ellington. Check out his IMDB here.
The good news: Lot of pics of Rob looking happy and healthy.
Apparently they decided to just let Rob wear his own clothes to play Tyler. Either that or the costume department isn't very creative.

Have a great day!

Nada Mucho to Report this New Moon Monday

I have to say, there isn't much to talk about this week.
First of all, there is this video of behind-the-scenes New Moon footage.

I'm getting excited! This looks awesome. But I wish they could employ a vocal coach for Taylor Lautner. His voice annoys the shit out of me. Otherwise, I'm super impressed by his dedication to the part and how great he looks in all the footage from the movie so far.
There have been rumors that Tom Sturridge might actually be playing the role of Aidan in Remember Me, but still no confirmation as of yet. That would be epic. To understand the love many of us have for Rob and his relationship with his BFF Tom, check this out:

Oh, goodness. That video never fails to amuse me. If you would like to follow their bromance, come join the hothobolove club. I love Tom (I also love this picture

Photobucket
because it looks like Rob and Tom are holding hands when really Tom is about a foot in front of Rob). If you haven't seen Tom in anything yet, you should definitely check him out in Murderous Intent (alternate title: Like Minds). That movie is awesomely weird. Oh, check out this video of Rob pwning a Paparazzi.

Robert in New York & the Paparazzi
by officialspunkransom
I feel a weird sense of pride at the way he handled that whole situation (if you couldn't understand it, here is a transcription of the dialogue in this video).
Pap-What?
Rob-What, what are you saying what for?
Pap-I'm just trying to get a photo of you.
Rob-(Laughs) Go away. (gets close then walks ahead) I'm gonna keep doing it.
Pap-You're too close.
Rob-Too close? (Laughs) Stop bumping into people.(Side note-nice of Rob to be concerned for the safety of others when he's being stalked) Its gonna be like this all night. alright?
Pap-Alright I got you already.
Rob-You gonna leave me alone?
Pap-Okay I will.
Rob-Alright?
Pap-Alright. Okay. You haven't seen me before. First time I got here.
Rob-What do mean you've never seen me before? It doesn't matter. You already got a photo.
Pap-Okay I'll let you go. Okay have a good night.
Creepy Stalkarazzi. But good for Rob for giggling about it the whole time and handling it calmly.
There are still some rumblings about Rob and Kris, and there is even a video out there of Ashley Greene responding to questions about their relationship and possibly confirming/denying it (depending on how you look at it). You can watch the video here, but I don't want to post it on my blog and I would caution against watching it. The whole interview is based on faulty information, as the Emma Watson interview that the reporter brings up was completely fabricated by a Russian magazine and was a poor English translation on top of that. Now that's just bad journalism.
KStew cut and dyed her hair for The Runaways, the movie in which she plays Joan Jett.

I admire her for actually cutting her hair instead of wearing a crappy wig. But I'm not gonna lie--she had fierce hair before

(I like the whole messy bed-head look) and this psuedo-mullet thing--while it's necessary for the role, it's not quite as becoming. But I actually like the color-it brings out her eyes. But my favorite look for Kristen has always been the blonde hair. Photobucket

Even though she's a natural brunette she is just meant to be a blonde in my opinion. She's been spending a lot of time with Dakota Fanning, who in addition to playing Jane in New Moon is also playing Cherie in The RunawaysPhotobucket
I think that their friendship is adorable, but don't you wonder what they talk about? I've been thinking about this quite a bit recently and I've narrowed their possible conversation topics down to either boys and unicorns or the economic crisis. I honestly don't have a clue what they talk about (probably growing up in the industry and/or the two movies they are working on together), but I'd love to be a fly on the wall during those convos.
In important news for Austinites, Little Ashes is coming to the Arbor on July 17. Not gonna lie, I want to go see this movie for the first time by myself. Because it seems like it could either be really funny or really sad or both. It also seems like it could be uncomfortable. And I giggle anytime I see him with the mustache. After all the interviews I've seen of Rob I had a hard time buying him as a vampire, so I'm guessing it might be harder to buy him as Salvador Dali.

Anywho, that's all I've got for today. Have a good one!

Love,

Elle Bunny

Zack Morris/Mark-Paul Gosselaar is Friday's Fun Fearless Male

If you haven't seen this yet, you must stop whatever you are doing and devote the next few minutes to watching it.

Can I just say that I love Mark-Paul for doing this? Most child/teen actors want to leave their well-known character behind and never talk about it interviews. Mark-Paul not only talked about it, he WAS Zack Morris in this interview. And he agreed to come to the Saved by the Bell reunion that Jimmy Fallon is planning.

Isn't it kind of amazing how he looks exactly the same? He looks at least 8 years younger than he did on Saved by the Bell: The College Years (not to mention 30 pounds lighter). Don't get me wrong, you can tell that he's wearing some heavy makeup. But he looks good (and the hair. GOD, the hair).

Mark-Paul Gosselaar has gone on to a fairly successful career. He's had recurring roles on many long-running television shows, including NYPD Blue, John from Cincinnati, and his newest show, Raising the Bar. And it must be acknowledged that he is still super good-looking.

So basically, Mark-Paul Gosselaar played an archetypal figure in the minds of many people around my age. The rambunctious, scheming good-looking guy who was always getting into mischief, but always got away with it because he was so gosh-darn likable. I realize that there were others before him and there have been others since, but for people of my generation, it just doesn't get any better than Zack Morris.
We didn't have the same over-saturation that kids have today. As the only live-action Saturday morning show for many years, SBTB looked different than anything else in the morning lineup. It was appointment television viewing for every kid my age. Who doesn't remember the prom that Kelly Kapowski couldn't afford to go to because her father lost his job and so Zack held an outdoor prom/picnic for the two of them right outside the gym? And there was that epic moment when Jessi and Slater were lip-syncing/singing Michael Bolton's "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" in their gladiator gear and off-the-shoulder sweatshirt-clad Kelly breaks up with Zack because she wants to go out with the older guy, Jeff. These were life-changing moments for kids my age. And everybody talked about it.

Saved by the Bell is one of the shows that defined my generation. Actually, now that I think about it, I challenge anybody around 25 years of age to come up with any other show that so clearly represents our age group. One could make an argument for Beverly Hills, 90210, but boys didn't watch that show in large numbers. And there was lots of sex in that show. Saved by the Bell had sexy cast members (well...they were sexy by 90's standards) but the show itself never got too sexy. After all, they showed it on Saturday Mornings. But I digress; what I mean to say is it is hard to find a person around my age who doesn't know what the Max is (or for that matter, who Jeff Hunter is). You could go to any hip, downtown bar on a Friday night and suggest everyone do "The Sprain" and the majority of the people would know what you were talking about.

Thank you, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, for having the courage to don your Zack Morris gear again. And God bless you, Jimmy Fallon, for trying to get the gang back together.

Zack Attack!+The Roots=AWESOMENESS.

Have a great weekend everybody and remember to take a TIME OUT to acknowledge Mark-Paul Gosselaar as a fun, fearless male (TIME IN).

Love,

Elle Bunny

Youtubesday: The Brit Pack

There are a group of musicians that have become very popular over the last 6 months because they are friends of Rob Pattinson. There's Sam Bradley, who cowrote "Never Think" with Rob and became friends with him when they were 12 and Rob was the new kid in school. Here's a video of Sam singing "Too Far Gone (Never Think)".

Pretty amazing, no? Then there's Bobby Long, who co-wrote "Let Me Sign". He's got two songs on iTunes and he's pretty amazing. Here's a video of him singing one of those singles, "Left to Lie" (this video also features an interview)

And finally, the other co-writer of "Let Me Sign", Marcus Foster, who is my favorite member of the Brit Pack (barring RPattz, of course). Even if you aren't a fan of Twilight, if you are a fan of music, you should check this out. It's really beautiful.

Bobby Long and Marcus Foster are coming to Austin in August. I think I might spontaneously combust, I'm so excited. They are really great musicians, and I'm glad that they are being noticed. Even if they are initially noted because of their association with Rob, they each have the talent to carry them far in the music industry (as does Rob, if he ever wanted to pursue the whole music thing). I will end with a video of him improvising on the piano (this is from the Twilight DVD).

Have a great day!

New Moon Monday: Holy Gossip, Batman!

The past week has been quite possibly the most gossip-ridden week for the cast of the Twilight saga. I guess with the success of Twilight at the MTV Movie Awards and the fact that the ratings were so high, the mainstream and gossip media has caught on--this is a big money-maker, because we, as a community of fans, are effing crazy. Not all of us are crazy, but with things like this haunting the interwebs, it's no wonder that people think we are coo-coo for Cullen-puffs. I'll admit, when I was watching the New Moon trailer, I shushed everyone in the room, and there might have been some toe-wiggling going on, but at least I had the sense not to record it and put it on YouTube for the rest of the world to see (and mock). No offense, Nuttymadam3575.
Anyway, I'll talk about the real news first, then I will get to the gossip. Not a whole lot of news. They are done filming the movie and it is in post-production. They are supposed to start filming Eclipse in August. Kristen will be on the cover of Allure's November issue and here are a couple of pictures from the photo shoot:
Gorgeous, right? Oh, btw, Kristen got a lot of shit for wearing chucks at the MTV Movie Awards. I don't know why people are just commenting on this now-is it just me, or do I think of that as one of her style signatures? Does anybody remember the Prom Scene in Twilight or the Vanity Fair shoot? Anyway, apparently KStew sprained her ankle in Italy. That's why she wore the chucks and that's why she has the awkward set-up with her boots during the photo shoots. Perhaps the sprained ankle is from running through the fountain? I do remember hearing reports of her refusing the use of a stunt double. Poor baby. But Kudos, KStew. Or rather, Kadooze.

Sorry for that trip to Crazytown. We will now return to your regularly scheduled New Moon coverage.

Taylor Lautner also had a photo shoot this week. Oh, Taylor? Neo called, he wants his jacket back. J/K.
In other Twilight Saga cast news? There is going to be an Alaska Twilight Cruise & Convention at Sea for Twilight Fans in the summer of 2010. Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are scheduled to attend. I do love cruises, and I love Twilight, but something tells me this cruise might resemble the NKOTB cruise. And I think I might have thrown myself overboard if I had to be on that boat for more than 8 hours. Not that I dislike NKOTB-on the contrary, I really enjoy them. But large groups of fans tend to annoy me, even if I'm one of the them. Much as I love Ashley and Kellan, I think I might wait to meet then at an event on land.

Final piece of legit news: casting announcement‎ for Remember Me, the movie that Rob is filming this summer. Emilie de Ravin (aka Claire from Lost) will be playing Ally, the love interest of Tyler, Rob's character. Tyler's dad will be played by Pierce Brosnan and Lena Olin is in negotiations to play his mom. Chris Cooper will play Ally's dad. A summary of the plot has been given to the press, and unless they have completely changed a particular part of the script, the summary is kind of misleading. A version of the script has leaked and I read it. I have no self control when it comes to these things. Suffice it to say, it sounds fairly close to the summary except for one major detail. I'll leave it at that.

The missing piece? Tyler's friend Aidan has not yet been cast. Either that or they just haven't announced it yet. I'm hoping these pics from yesterday of Rob out in NYC with Tom Stud are an indication of good news to come. That would make my life. I would be even more excited about this movie, which I'm already looking forward to a ridiculous amount.

I love Tom's shoes. And I love that they dress alike when they are together and wear each other's clothes when they are apart. Ten bucks says Rob will be wearing that Eddie Money shirt sometime in the next 3 months.
Anyway, on to the gossip! You might have heard some rumblings about Rob and Kristen being an item. And you might have seen some stories about them staying in a bungalow together in the ultra-hip Charlie Hotel in Los Angeles (check out the pics here and the video here). While nothing has been confirmed or denied by either Rob or Kristen's camps, people are going apeshit. The fandom is currently exploding, many livejournal communities are currently located in the 9th circle of hell, and if you notice your internet breaking anytime in the next few weeks, you probably have Twilighters to blame. For some reason, this is an issue of contention amongst the fans. There are people who claim to know that Rob and Kristen are sleeping together "but he's just not that into her". There are even people who claim that Rob and Kristen are engaged. And there are some people who just don't care. Not every Twilighter feels so strongly either way.
My feelings? Well, those of you who have read my blogs or know me know that I think that they would be an adorable couple. And sometimes I act like a ridiculous shipper. But deep down, I'm really just a fan of Rob Pattinson and a fan of Kristen Stewart, and a lot of my shipper comments are only in jest. I realize that as far as we know at this point, it's possible that Kristen is still with Michael Angarano. And that's cool. I actually like Michael (how could I not like him when he played Elliot, Jack's son on Will & Grace?). It seems like Michael has been out of the spotlight a lot lately, and that makes it seem like Michael and Kristen may no longer be together. But we don't know anything. So at this point, it is all speculation. If Kristen and Rob are together, than that's great-they both have been quite smiley lately.
If they are happy, we as fans should be happy for them. We shouldn't try and pretend to know what their feelings are or what motivation they might have for being together. And we shouldn't trust the rumors that are planted on the interwebs by people who aren't fans of either. Can you imagine how Rob and Kristen are feeling right now? No wonder Rob has been MIA for most of the past week.
Have a great New Moon Monday!
Good luck avoiding the ridiculous gossip.
Love,

Elle Bunny
