Hey Ouiser, Remember Me?!

There is no denying the fact that Shirley Maclaine is a little looney/bat-shit crazy. Case in point: her recent appearance on The View.

She is, however, very funny, and in some of the best movies ever. Here is the death scene (sorry if you haven't seen the movie and I just spoiled it, but really, why haven't you seen the movie yet?) from Terms of Endearment.

If the only movie Shirley MacLaine ever did was Steel Magnolias, that would be enough. But she has had a long and very successful career. Fun trivia-she is Warren Beatty's older sister. She is 74 and she did her first movie in 1955-Alfred Hitchcock's The Trouble With Harry for which she won a Golden Globe for New Star of the Year-Actress.

She won her first Oscar in 1983 for Terms of Endearment. So, today I embrace my bat-shit crazy side and crown Shirley MacLaine Friday's Fun Fearless Female of the week.
