Is it November yet?

Okay, I think we've established the fact that I'm not Team Jacob. But I am getting excited for New Moon. In case you've been living under a rock, here's the newest trailer. And just think, you didn't have to sit through Band Slam to watch it.

As I said earlier, I'm not a big fan of the Jacob/Bella stuff, but this gave me goosebumps. Especially the end. I don't plan on getting him upset.
Kristen looks drop dead gorgeous throughout the trailer. And I think Jacob might get on my nerves less once he cuts the hair/loses the wig. Dakota Fanning looks so creepy and beautiful, yes? So does Edi Gathegi/Laurent! And Robward only used his constipated face once! I'm so proud.
Speaking of Rob, you might have seen these pictures floating around the interwebs:

First of all, can I say, I'm so jealous that they are at a Kings of Leon concert. I'm dying to see them live. But I digress; shippers look at these pictures and see clear evidence that the two of them are together (and believe that they are kissing in the second picture). Non-shippers believe that they are just talking closely because they are at a loud concert.

Here's my take (if you don't want to hear it, don't read my blog you wanker). I may be a shipper, but I'm not easily convinced of these things. I don't believe you would normally speak that closely with someone you were just friends with. And I also believe that Summit is dying for them to keep the fact that they are together a secret. So anytime you see them at any official Twilight function they always have Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, or some other poor schmuck shoved in between them. When you see Rob and Kristen outside of official functions they are often hanging out together. Whether or not there are others with them, they seem to be in their own little world.

They know that everyone is gossiping about them and wondering if they are together. They know that Summit would rather them not confirm everyone's suspicions (if you need any confirmation of that fact, just check out the videos of Comic-Con in which reporters are instructed to keep their questions to the movie and not ask about anyone's private life). I think that they feel stifled by Summit's request that they keep things quiet and this is their way of rebelling. It would appear that they are giving a middle finger to Summit, and for that, I applaud them. But just because they don't care whether people think they are together doesn't mean they are getting married. It doesn't even really mean that they're really together. It could just mean they are trying to piss off the studio. But I do believe that they are together.

When you get right down to it, we're all just speculating. That's just my two cents.

I'm counting down the days until November 20th (93 more to go). But I have something else exciting coming up this week. Tomorrow I'm getting on a plane with Mr. Bunny and my parents to go up to Washington. In less than 48 hours I will be in Forks, Washington. I will obviously have tons of pictures to share when I get back.

Have a great week!

Love,

Elle Bunny

In the immortal words of Brenda Walsh "if it looks like a duck and talks like a duck I'm basically saying you are a backstabbing slut"

Or something like that. In case you don't remember that quote, it's from the time that Brenda and Reek (aka Rick aka Dean Cain aka Superman) ran into Kelly and Dylan on a date together after Brenda broke up with Dylan the night before. That was how Brenda verbally bitch-slapped Kelly (well maybe she didn't say the stuff about Kelly being a slut, but that is what she was implying). I have to admit, I'm starting to agree with her. Anyway, Ms. Kelly Taylor, Jennie Garth is annoying me right now. And trust me, no one's a bigger fan of Mrs. Facinelli than me. I'm always in her corner. But WTF is this?
"I can’t say (who it is), because that would be breaking my promise (to husband Facinelli), but he (Pattinson) is dating one of them."
-when asked whether Rob was dating Nikki Reed or Kristen Stewart.
Oh Jennie. You don't need to gossip to stay relevant. Your husband alone keeps you relevant. But that is a good way to buy yourself a bitchface of epic Brenda Walsh proportions next time you are in Vancouver.
We don't need you to confirm anything. These pictures of them at the Chateau Marmont are all the evidence we need. I have no doubts at this point that Rob and Kristen are together, but I think the only chance they have of staying that way is by keeping it private. Twilighters are crazy and contrary to popular belief (I'm talking to you Lainey) the majority of fans don't want KStew and RPattz together. Because Kristen is weird and right now she has unfortunate hair. And the majority of Twilighters think of themselves as Bella. And Rob is perfect and can do no wrong in the dazzled eyes of Twilight fans. I'm in the minority because I love Kristen and her weirdness. I love that she doesn't play the Hollywood games and smokes pot in public. I love that her parents are hippies and the whole Stewart family loves Alice in Wonderland so much that they have giant tea cups in their backyard. Above all else, I think she is a great actress. Yes, she has certain tics and things she does in life which inevitably inhabit her characters as well. But so does Al Pacino and people think he's an amazing actor. Kristen may be weird but I love her and cannot picture anyone else playing the role of Bella.
I think Rob is a weirdo too (albeit a lovable one who happens to play Edward Cullen). When you put Rob and Kristen together they only become more socially awkward. When you get right down to it, neither Kristen or Rob have the right personality to become a movie star. But they are both beautiful and really talented and interesting to watch, both on and off screen.
Kelly Taylor, you know that I love you. But do you remember how pissed off you were at Valerie when she told Susan and Colin that you and Brandon were hooking up when they were out of town on Thanksgiving Vacation? Remember how that felt. Don't sell Rob and Kristen out. You shouldn't gossip about them. Learn from your mistakes and don't fuel the Robsten fire. These kids have enough on their plates.
Have a good night!
Love,
Elle Bunny
P.S. There is some question as to the validity of the quote from Jennie Garth. Her reps are actually saying that she just admitted that Rob was dating someone, but not necessarily Kristen or Nikki. There's something fishy going on here. I bet you Valerie Malone's behind this smear campaign. I just can't believe I fell for it. I hereby sentence myself to a year of using Brenda fake French accent as punishment.

A Love Song from Bobby Long and Marcus Foster

On Sunday night I went to see the amazing Bobby Long and incomparable Marcus Foster in concert. They were both very sweet, easy going guys from England. The boys had just come from TwiCon in Dallas and to be honest, I think they were a bit weary after that experience. But they sounded amazing and were very gracious with the fans. I had so much fun and I am so happy that I finally have my hands on a Bobby Long CD (you can purchase Marcus's EP on iTunes. Bobby has 3 songs available on iTunes).
So we got there super early (I went with some friends from work) and we just kind of hung out and people watched. I was amazed by the array of people there. While I will admit the majority were women, there were actually a good number of men there and the women varied in every way possible. There were three very tall heavily made up girls dressed to the nines who arrived drunk and stayed by the bar the entire time. There were several women that looked to be anywhere from 40-70. There was a married couple that looked like they most likely weren't big fans of Twilight. And there was a boy in his mid twenties that stood by me during the concert wearing an Eddy Izzard shirt (a clear indication that he was not homosexual) and he knew every word of every song by Bobby and Marcus. While I like both of them, there were certainly songs I hadn't heard before. I was impressed. So for those people who say the only reason that Marcus and Bobby and Sam are selling tickets is because they are friends with Rob, I beg to differ.
About an hour after we got there, one of the girls and her boyfriend came back from walking around outside and told us to come out and wait a few minutes. She said that she had heard they would be driving up soon. I pointed out that I didn't think they were big enough for a tour bus, so we were looking for a van or possible a car being driven by someone else to drop them off. Well I didn't see anyone else driving them, but about five minutes after arriving outside I looked across the street and said "Isn't that Bobby?" I would know that floppy hair anywhere. They showed up in a white Prius. So Marcus and him walked up to the bar and went in the door. All of us were so dumbstruck we didn't say anything, we just watched them. They were both much taller than I was expecting. And Marcus was wearing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shirt (Turtles in a half-shell: Turtle Power!). Anyway, we walked back in about 30 seconds after they had entered the bar through the front door and the guy said that he didn't know it was them and had tried to charge them entry. They just politely said "Oh; but we're playing here." He apologized profusely. I love that they are so unassuming.

Anyway, about an hour later Bobby got up on stage and he played his heart out. Just him and a guitar (and a harmonica on one song). He drank a beer (and one shot of whiskey) and he talked about how he liked Austin and Texas in general. He's planning to come back for SXSW. He did mention something about having just come from "the pits of hell" (referring to Dallas). That was when I decided I was glad that I didn't have the money to go to TwiCon. I think it might have been too much of a good thing. A favorite moment--he played a song called "T is for Texas". It had to do with a girl cheating on him. It was oh so lovely. Another favorite moment--check this out:
Well, my camera wasn't working so well (I didn't bring the SLR because it's big and bulky), but here are just a few pictures:
And the one I'm most proud of:
We all look a little out of it in this picture, but this is me and my friend Laura with Bobby Long. Laura and I both look like we are trying really hard not to blink and Bobby looks sleepy/drunk. But he was super nice. And he signed my CD. I had a really hard time talking to him. I think it must be intimidating to talk to anyone who's just sang that beautifully onstage. Or maybe that's just me.
Anyway, when we went to take a picture with him, another guy he was talking to stepped aside. He looked familiar, but I couldn't figure out who it was. He couldn't be Sam Bradley because he looked too tan and was much shorter than I expected. And he didn't have the curly teddy bear hair (seen here).

But alas, it was Sam Bradley, which Laura and I discovered later when the boyfriend of one of the girls we came with came over to us and we asked him where his girlfriend was and he said "Oh, she's talking to the fourth one". And we were like "What do you mean, the fourth one?" And he was like "I don't know." All of a sudden, it dawned on us that it was Sam. And we went upstairs and I took this picture with him: (I honestly can't get over how ridiculously pale I am in these pictures. I should sparkle. The should hire me for Eclipse. I'm paler than all the British boys. I think I may need to hit the Mystic Tan soon).

Sam was the nicest (I shouldn't say that because I didn't talk with Marcus personally, but I can't imagine he could be any nicer than Sam). I probably shouldn't say this, but I don't like Sam's music as much as the music of Bobby and Marcus. They play and it's just their voice and a guitar and that's what I love. But Sam was really sweet. He apologized for being sweaty, but he's not used to the heat. We talked about England and then talked about how crazy TwiCon was. I said thanks and that I would see him the next night at his show. He said thank you. He didn't acknowledge the fact that Laura and I had walked passed him twice earlier in the evening without noticing him.

I'm a total granny bitch, though, because even though I said I would attend, I was super tired last night so I skipped his concert. I hope he forgives me. I'm sure he noticed my absence (j/k).
But anyway, I digress. After Bobby, Marcus went onstage. He has a beautiful voice, a bit more nasally, but he can really belt it out. Unfortunately my camera wasn't allowing me to videotape by the time he got onstage, but I will tell you, it was amazing. Here's my picture:

Oh, Marcus. I really love his music. If you haven't heard it, check this out.

And that's all she wrote.
Have a great day!

Rachelle LaFevre out, Bryce Dallas Howard in? UPDATED

The Twilight Zone. We've officially entered it. Summit Entertainment announced today that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of “Victoria” in the studio’s upcoming production of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Actress, Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed the character in TWILIGHT as well as the upcoming release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE will start filming in Vancouver this coming August.
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio’s TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster book series, will be directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. The film will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. “Rachelle brought “Victoria” to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”
Howard most recently starred in TERMINATOR SALVATION as Kate Connor and has been seen in SPIDER-MAN 3, LADY IN THE WATER, and THE VILLAGE. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her leading performance as an actress in the HBO film AS YOU LIKE IT.
In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

I LOVED Rachelle. I thought she was one of the best parts of Twilight. So why would she leave right before she gets her big showdown, the most screen time? What on earth could be so important that she would leave her biggest meal ticket?

I smell conspiracy. I hate Summit Productions and this has their grimy, greedy fingerprints all over it. I bet that they put out feelers, got some interest from Bryce, and dumped Rachelle on her ass when they saw the opportunity for a "big name".
I will miss you Rachelle.
But I will give you a chance, Bryce. It's not your fault that Suckmit is so awful. But you're going to have to bring it. You're going to have to up the quotient of badass to go from this:

to this:

But I believe you can do it. You might just need to work on your growls. I'm not sure they are what you would consider "lady-like".

Have a good day everyone!
Love,

Elle Bunny

P.S. As I thought, Rachelle has come out with this statement:

“I was stunned by Summit [Entertainment]’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse,” Rachelle said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to Barney’s Version is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse. Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.”
The 30-year-old
actress continued, “I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the Twilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best.”

Anyone up for a letter writing campaign? I'd jump on that train.

Just another New Moon Monday

My heart is full. I have now seen the footage from Comic-Con and even the 2 previews that were shared. Here are a few of my favorite videos from the panel discussion--you can go into YouTube and watch the whole conference at that user's page.

I love Ashley Greene so much. She just radiates Alice-ness. And Chris Weitz is just made of awesome. I wish they would have him direct Breaking Dawn. Here's a piece of trivia for you: Lupita Tovar , who starred in the original Spanish-language version of Dracula is Chris Weitz's grandmother. He was destined to direct one of these movies.

Here are the two previews that were shown from the movie (protect your ears: major screaming going on here):

Man, they are working those abs for all they are worth, huh? While the dialogue was cheesy in parts, the majority of it was directly from the book, so it's completely understandable. I kind of loved the bike scene and I'm THRILLED with the way that Edward's presence is portrayed. I never thought it would look that good. I'm hoping that the scene with Alice and Bella in the Porsche looks less rushed and cartoonish in the context of the movie. Overall, I'm thrilled with the overall look of this movie when compared with the first one.

Any thoughts? I can't wait for November!

Have a great day!

This Frustrated Fan-Girl wants the Twilight Mafia to work it's magic!!!

I'm impatient. I don't understand why G4 won't just set up a video camera, tape it all, and sell the footage to everyone. If this is Suckmit at work, I think I might right an angry letter. There's some other stuff, but here are the main videos I've got so far.

This is from the press conference--after which they had a panel which included Ashley Greene and Chris Weitz (who looked very dapper). After that, I'm told that the cast went to screenings of Twilight. I'm really tempted to buy tix to Comic-Con for next year, but knowing my luck, the Twilight cast wouldn't sign up to come.
Anyway, since there's not much to report right now, I will provide you with some links. Here is an Access Hollywood Video; here is the G4 live blog from the panel; finally I will link you to Ted Casablanca's Twitter-he's at Comic-Con, and he will have loads of updates with juicy info.
Have a great day!

Last Saturday, I watched Little Ashes

Unfortunately, they postponed bringing Little Ashes to my local theatre so I broke down and watched it on the interwebs. If you are interested in checking it out, let me know and I will send you the link. It honestly took me awhile to figure out how I felt about it and Rob Pattinson's performance. Here is what I took away from it.
1) It is a beautiful movie. The cinematography is amazing and for a low-budget indie I'm surprised to find it looks so pretty and glossy.
2) Javier Beltran is going places. He played Frederico Garcia Lorca with such depth you truly believed he was a poet. His was a hard role to play and he did it beautifully. He broke my heart at the end.
3) Rob is a good actor who is on his way to being great. His performance in this movie was excellent and this is the first time I watched one of his movies and saw his potential to become a great actor. Have you ever gone back and watched one of the first movies by a well-known actor? Leonardo Dicaprio in This Boy's Life comes to mind. There is an eagerness, a hunger to learn and be great that exists in Leo in that movie. It took time for him to fully hone his skills, but there is also something really beautiful and raw about that performance, which was one of his first movies. Sometimes you can see the wheels turning in his head, but he's really good and you can tell he's going to be great.
That is how I felt watching Rob in this movie. His was definitely the hardest role to play--Salvador Dali is such a caricature, such a part of the world-wide lexicon. Dali once created a lobster telephone and called it art. It's a hard role to play. But he couldn't just play the caricature that Dali would become--he had to show Dali's journey to becoming that, and the motivations behind it. Rob did that beautifully. I felt proud of him. Mind you, there were definitely times when I laughed out loud at how ridiculous he looked/acted. But I think you were kind of supposed to feel that way. And I must say, the physical transformation was well done; it's hard to believe that this is the same boy who played Cedric Diggory.
And his last scene was sensational and utterly heartbreaking. That is where he becomes the Dali we came to know.
4) This movie had the potential to be great-but the script and the production/director were lacking. The movie was very poorly paced; I was quite bored at times, while at others I found myself having to rewind to catch everything. They could have gone in there and cut out plenty of scenes. I felt they didn't know which story they wanted to tell. At times it felt like a historical drama; at other times they seemed to want it to be a romantic drama. A movie can be both, but it would take a stronger set of ideas. This movie had the potential to be a Spanish Brokeback Mountain which is the direction I think they should have gone in.
5) The movie is really weird. Which is to be expected when you're talking about an art house film made on a small budget about Salvador Dali. Throw in a homosexual relationship in a repressive historical Spain and you have some awkward scenes. Some of it is really hard to watch. But the majority of it is really beautiful. This scene gives me chills.
6) I'm now kind of obsessed with the people that serve as the subjects of this movie. I've watched two documentaries on Dali on YouTube and read several of Lorca's poems. They were fascinating artists with fascinating lives. It's a shame that this movie didn't do a better job of bringing those lives to light. But there is something really beautiful about an imperfect movie. And there are some scenes in this movie that are so magnificently beautiful that you could almost excuse the less complelling ones.
Would I recommend seeing it? I'm not sure. You might enjoy it, you might not. I would give the acting a B-, the subject matter an A+, and the overall movie a C-. If you're open to the completely weird factor and not afraid of some awkward scenes, then I think it's worth watching.
Have a great day!
Don't forget to watch the footage from Comic-Con's New Moon panel tomorrow; word is, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart should be showing up. I hope they remember their ear plugs.

Ashley Greene is Friday's Fun Fearless Female

I love Ashley Greene the most out of any the girls in the cast of Twilight. Why, you ask? Because she is sweet and very enthusiastic. She is an absolutely gorgeous girl and she's friends with the whole cast. She seems like a perfect friend; in fact, when you get right down to it, I like Ashley because she's so much like Alice. And who doesn't love Alice?
Much as I love Ashley, I don't know that I would have classified her as "fearless" last week. Yes, she will be going on the
Twilight Cruise, which certainly shows a certain amount of gusto. But she seems sweet, safe, nice. But Ashley has proven me wrong. She is fearless...when it comes to fashion.

Oh, Ashley. Leather hot pants? Maybe this is a fashion risk you shouldn't have attempted. It's hot outside. You could get sweaty. This look is just all kinds of wrong if you ask me. It makes a very thin, beautiful girl look boxy and larger than she is. And Ashley was so brave, she wore this outfit on national television. She went on MTV's "It's On with Alexa Chung". In these shorts. Check it out.

Bless her heart. I love her. Just not in those shorts.

Congratulations, Ashley; but next time, how about taking on a risky role rather than an outfit like that.

Have a great weekend!

New Moon Monday: A little bit of this, a little bit of that.

There's not much to report today. I'm thinking that this may be my last New Moon Monday for awhile-after this I will be doing Twilight posts more intermittently for awhile until we get closer to New Moon's premiere.
Here is a video taken by one of the extras on the set of The Runaways. Towards the end you can see Kristen rock out as Joan Jett.

Impressive, although I wish we could have heard her sing. I admire her for taking on this role so completely-she's learned how to play the guitar, and she's gotten a lot of crap about her hair the whole time. But I guess that is what being an actor is. She certainly looks the part; and she looks tall despite being teeny-tiny. One thing she doesn't look-pregnant. Check out this article from the Wall Street Journal on Harry Potter and Rival Teen Franchise (and the scary picture they had with it). It compares Twilight and my new obsession, Harry Potter, which is something I hate. But it is focusing on how the success of Twilight is forcing Harry Potter to focus more on the romance to ensure that the teenage girls will be satisfied. Apparently, now that Twilight was successful, they are finally taking teenage girls seriously as an audience that goes to see movies multiple times and taking into account that movies should be made for them. While this is true, I think they would be wise to remember that there were also lots of adult women (and men for that matter) that went to see Twilight multiple times. The same has been true for all of the Harry Potter movies and will surely be the case with the one coming out on Wednesday. But it's never a bad thing to bring romance onto the screen and I can't wait to see this movie. I think the only way they could make these movies do better at the box office is by bringing Cedric Diggory back from the dead. Interesting article, though.

Here's an awesome video of Bruno being interviewed about celebrities. Someone from the Twilight cast comes up. Hilarity ensues:

I need to see Bruno stat. Sacha Baron Cohen is my own personal brand of comedy heroin. Here are some pics of Rob in a suit on the Remember Me set in NYC. And here's Pierce Brosnan (who plays Rob's dad) looking dapper in a suit on set. Perfect casting. When I was seven, we went to California on vacation for Thanksgiving. We went to a restaurant called Alice's in Santa Monica and Pierce Brosnan was there. My mom was quite impressed. I didn't know who he was because, well, I was seven and he wasn't James Bond yet. But I digress; the point is, Pierce is a beautiful man, and I once ate a meal in the same room as that man. And now he's playing Rob's dad. This makes me happy (I realize that it also makes me pathetic).

According to E!'s Mark Malkin, Rob will be gracing the cover of Vanity Fair sometime in the near future. Can't wait for that one!
Don't forget to check out the New Moon panel at Comic Con on Thursday, July 23rd at 1:45 PM Pacific Time. It should be online and if last year's Twilight panel tells us anything it will be full of screaming girls. Rob and Kristen are rumored to be attending, although I won't believe it until I see them there. Have we forgotten this?

Based on last years panel I would have bet money that Rob would have given up his Van Morrison collection before attending this thing again. If he shows up, Summit better buy him a boat And if KStew attends, they should buy her an island, Carlisle-style (remember Isle Esme?). She's the one who has to deal with all the fan hate and pregnancy rumors.

Have a great New Moon Monday!

An abbreviated New Moon Monday

Today was super busy at work, and overall I have very little to report (but tomorrow I will have a Twilight-related Youtubesday that anyone would enjoy). Anyway, Rob and Kristen are still alive and still working on their respective movies. Here are the pictures to prove it.
Photobucket
I believe that is the crooked grin Bella was always going ga-ga for. Although the scruff is totally Un-Edward like.
Kristen and Dakota are pretty much unrecognizable in these pictures. It seems they have completely immersed themselves in their roles. Can't wait to see the Runaways movie!

Here is a quote from Billy Burke (aka Charlie Swan) when asked about Rob's success: "He's worth the hype. Rob's talented, honest, funny, and professional. Most importantly, he doesn't let the fame get to his head. What you see is what you get with the kid. And he's a complete pleasure to be around."
Let's say it all together now: awww! How nice.
Click
HERE to read what Mike Welch (aka Mike Newton) has to say about filming the three-way date in New Moon.
Click
HERE to see an awesome interview with Ashley Greene. I just love her. The highlight for me is the fact that she is wearing a ring on her left ring finger which she says was part of her costume for New Moon (a ring that Jasper gave Alice). So sweet. That's all for today! Have a great night!

Bummer Summer?

Has anybody else been completely bummed out by the news and television this summer? At this point the only thing getting me through to Labor Day is So You Think You Can Dance. Everything else gives me a major case of the sads or the bitchface.
Exhibit A:
Jon & Kate Plus 8.

I thought I was over these bitches and fine with them getting divorced and going off into non-televised oblivion. But then they showed the footage of the kids when they were babies and I'm not made of stone, so it brought a tear to my eye. And now I'm kind of curious what will happen when they come back from hiatus. I stand by my previous statement that Jon & Kate Plus 8 is more depressing than Intervention.
But at least I have The Little Couple to tide me over. I've decided that if the LC (as I like to call the Little Couple) were average sized, I would be annoyed by them. But because they are little, I like them and think they are cute. Kind of a reverse discrimination. An old friend of mine is scared to death of midgets, so I guess this just kind of evens things out for them.
Exhibit B:
Rob Pattinson keeps getting attacked by fangirls and taxi-cabs.
This bums me out and makes me worried for his safety. Knowing his fear of being stabbed I'm sure he his currently in his own personal version of hell. And KStew is stuck far away on the west coast, with this hair: and giving us further proof as to why she was picked to play Bella Swan:

I always laugh when I see someone fall, then I feel bad for laughing and end up crying. But that uncomfortable cry where you're laughing the whole time and feel like you are going to pee in your pants. Does anyone else feel this way?
Exhibit C:
Real Housewives of New Jersey. It's over. No more table flipping for at least another six months. Yes, they are currently showing the reunion shows, but the ladies don't seem as fired up as they did before, although I'm looking forward to the 2nd part of the finale; looks like there will be some major dramz there.

So yeah, other than that: Economic downturn, everybody seems to be losing their job and their house, North Korea is threatening to bomb Hawaii, people are being killed in Iran for protesting the fact their votes were totally ignored in an election that was fixed. All in all, I would say it's been a crazy summer. But as Americans, we are conditioned to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and find a solution for each problem. We could always send Danielle from RHONJ over to North Korea; I guarantee the majority of the leadership over there would give up and kill themselves after spending 20 minutes listening to that woman complain about how Dina must have been the one who revealed the fact that she was written about in Cop Without A Badge.
And I think the best things we could do for the citizens of Iran is force the Ayatollah Khomeini and Ahmadinejad to both marry Kate Gosselin. Chances are, they would both give up as well (they may even look into moving into Trump Towers).Another note on Peace in the Middle East: if they really want to find Osama bin Laden, they should just sic Twilighters (especially Twilight Moms) on him. Tell them that Rob will make out with them if the find Osama. I would bet someone $10 (the only expendable money I have at the moment) that he would be found within 2 weeks.
And if all else fails, it's hard to beat the ultimate healing powers of So You Think You Can Dance.

Have a great day!

I LOVE YOU! You're Rude :(

This is a note that was left on Rob Pattinson's car while he filmed a scene in NY. It makes me giggle.
If for some reason you aren't able to read the glow-in-the-dark light blue pen it says:
Dear Robert,
I LOVE YOU!
You're Rude :(
Love Always,
???nna &
Nicole
The only thing missing is "Do you love me? Check yes or no". I'm praying that this was written by a pre-teen and not a mother. And can they really call him rude? I saw the video from that day (I know, that's weird, but whatever. At least I'm not on set bothering him) and he just ignored them. He has to work. And the day before he got hit by a cab (but not hurt) trying to walk across the street (there is some debate as to whether or not he was being chased by the fangirls. But let's just assume that he was probably being less than observant because he was probably trying to avoid being strangled by fangirls). Oh, Bert.
Very nice. Anyway, I can't wait to see this movie. At this point, I'm praying that he makes it through the filming unscathed. And I encourage folks who happen to be visiting NYC to avoid visiting the set of Remember Me. If you want to meet Rob, wait for one of the fan events (premieres, Hot Topic tours, Today Show appearances, etc).
In other news, filming finally started on The Runaways today.

Her jeans are made of awesome. This movie looks interesting as well.

Not much else to report. Hope everyone has a great New Moon Monday!

Youtubesday: Emo Kid is throwing Slow-Mo Dove at my face

It's very likely that you've already seen this video or one of the other Literal 80's videos. But if you haven't seen this one yet, you should watch it as it is the best of the bunch.

I could watch this on repeat all day.
RPattz update:
First, the bad news: the Twihards went effing crazy in NYC yesterday and attacked him on the street when he was in between filming scenes of his new movie Remember Me. Here's the video.

Bitches are crazy. Poor Bert. I wouldn't blame him if he became a hermit after all of this Twilight stuff is over with. Second piece of bad news: Tombert will not be starring in this movie together. The part of Aidan will be played by this guy:

Not bad, but not how I pictured him. Because I'm a dork I pictured Kellan Lutz the whole time I read the script. I was thrilled at the idea of Tom playing Aidan, even though it was quite a switch. This actor is reportedly named Tate Ellington. Check out his IMDB here.
The good news: Lot of pics of Rob looking happy and healthy.
Apparently they decided to just let Rob wear his own clothes to play Tyler. Either that or the costume department isn't very creative.

Have a great day!
