I spent my weekend on YouTube again

Hours of enjoyment. Here are some of my favorite discoveries and some oldies but goodies.
First of all:

Apparently this is a Cadbury Dairy Milk commercial and lot of other people have seen it before. It's new to me, though and I think it's made of win. I showed it to my entire family on Sunday.
I also visited an oldie but goodie yesterday.

Oh my gosh, this kills me every time. Next up is Will and Pearl, the landlord.

The majority of my YouTubing time was spend with the Twicurls. I swear people who aren't even into Twilight will get a kick out of this stuff. Just give it a chance.
Here are the Twicurls portraying Charlie Swan and Billy Black, best friends and fathers of Bella and Jacob.

I love it when they play Frisbee. Here they are dressed up as our other favorite BFFs, RPattz and TomStu.

Here is another one of my favorites, when they pretend to be Volturi wives. I love that the intro music is courtesy of the Golden Girls.

Okay, this is another favorite--it is Kiera describing how hard it is for Edward to be around Bella all the time.

I thoroughly enjoy these girls. They stuff they do reminds me of my fellow Struththropes, Justin and I in our youth. This is the kind of crap we would do, but it was usually related to *NSync or something else we were into that week.
Diving further into the
Twilight Zone,
here is an awesome Moviefone Unscripted interview with Rob, Kristen and Stephenie.

It's nice to hear them speak without being interrupted by thousands of screaming girls. I love Rob's "Briefly in Boxers" comment at the beginning.
I can count the number of days until the movie comes out on one hand. I'm so excited!I'm so excited! I'm So, Scared!

NeNe is Friday's Fun Fearless Female!

If you aren't watching Real Housewives of Atlanta yet,
YOU MUST!
These bitches are crazy! No one is better than NeNe, and that is why she is Friday's Fun Fearless Female.

Here is an introduction to NeNe.

Watch more The Real Housewives of Atlanta videos on AOL Video

NeNe is funny and can sing a hell of a lot better than her archrival and former friend Kim.NeNe is known for such hits as "Don't be Tardy fo tha Party" and "I Know I Said I Was 29, but I know I'm really 89".

Apparently NeNe also used to be a stripper.I love her husband and her gay best friend, Dwight Eubanks.

She also is the founder of an organization called "Twisted Hearts" that helps victims of domestic abuse. NeNe recently found out the man she grew up thinking was her father is not. They had a Maury moment. I can't wait to find out who the father is.
Here is what the Silver Fox had to say about NeNe last night on the Tonight Show:

I love these people. They make the world a better place; or at least in NeNe's case a more entertaining world. I would love it if I could post more footage, but unfortunately Bravo is full of bitches who won't allow videos of their shows.

In the
Twilight Zone
these beautiful pictures just came out. They are from a shoot with InStyle. Aren't they beautiful?

The movie is less than a week away now!

Have a great weekend!

How is it possible that anyone is still Team Jacob at this point?

Don't get me wrong, I loved Jacob in the books. While I have never considered myself to be Team Jacob and found New Moon painful to read the first time around, I thoroughly enjoyed his section of Breaking Dawn.
But the actors who play Edward and Jacob have made abundantly clear who would win any battle of hotness.
Exhibit A:
Hottie with the Hair
Exhibit B:
Massive Tool
I don't see how anyone could even be Team Switzerland at this point.
In fact, many members of the livejournal communities I frequent refer to him as Failcob.
In addition,
Last night, they put the Twilight cast's celebrity playlists up on iTunes. I love Celebrity Playlists so this is like Christmas for me, but I refrained from buying any because we are trying to save money and I've gone way over budget in my iTunes spending the last couple of months. And I'm glad I refrained because Twilighters have been graciously compiling and sharing their music. So they have playlists from Rob, Nikki, Ashley, Jackson, Kellan, Edi, Rachelle and Taylor. Why no KStew? I bet I would have loved her Playlist. That sucks.
So speaking of things that suck, Taylor does. A lot. Let me share the songs that Rob picked and his explanations and then we will move on to Taylor.
1."C-Jam Blues" by Oscar Peterson: "What I learned how to play blues piano riffs from. Peterson was the best."
2."Soldier Sender" by John Lee Hooker: "If I could have a song as a wife..."
3."Soft" by Kings of Leon: "I've always thought that I really relate to the lyrics of this even though I don't really know what they are. I love the singer's enunciation in all their songs. They are pretty much the only modern band I can say I am a fan of."
4."Cold Sweat" by James Brown: "This song hits me just as hard every time I've heard it since I was a little kid and I listened to James Brown on the way to school."
5."Dean" by Terry Reid: "I love Terry Reid. I love the schizophrenic decisions he makes towards the end of this song when he's choosing what notes to sing.Terry Reid was just one of those guys like James Brown who when they got into a groove, it just seemed like they'd want to keep singing the same line, let alone the same song, all night."
6."Stepping Out Queen, Pt. II" by Van Morrison: "Another guy who has such a visionary and unique take on what structure in songwriting is, what singing is, and what can be achieved emotionally and spiritually through music."
7."Lengths" by The Black Keys: "Another new band I like. This is a beautiful song. I like how it's produced. This whole album is great."
8."One Mo'gin" by D'Angelo: "I love D'Angelo. I used to always try and sing like him when I was younger and embarrassingly fail. I like his pronunciation when he sings. I think when you try and write lyrics and you think that there is no way the listener will figure out what you're saying or what you mean, you write much more honestly. I think."
9."Blue Monday People" by Curtis Mayfield: "Got inspired by putting D'Angelo on. This whole album is amazing. The production on it is incredible. A really interesting album which not a lot of people listen to. Don't know why."
10."Brown Trout Blues" by Johnny Flynn: "I grew up with some amazing musicians in London who are still my friends. Marcus Foster, Bobby Long and Sam Bradley are recording their albums now, but Johnny Flynn completed his one a while ago. I just saw him play in L.A. and he was incredible. But he's always been incredible so I can't say I was surprised. Get this album it's great and no one else does music like him at all."
11."Ambulance Blues" by Neil Young: "One of the most moving songs ever written or recorded. I used to listen to the line 'I guess I'll call it sickness gone' on repeat for hours when I wanted to try and write something."
12."A Whiter Shade of Pale" by King Curtis: "Just a beautiful song. Reminds me of the end of Withnail and I."
13."Ruby's Arms" by Tom Waits: "My favorite Tom Waits song. I cry almost every time I hear it. Plays over an amazing scene in one of my favorite movies too - Prenom Carmen."
14."(First) Essay for Orchestra, Op. 12" by Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Yoel Levi: "This song just hurts, it's so beautiful."
15."T.B. Sheets" by Van Morrison: "Only Van Morrison can do a performance like this. No one else has come close."
OME
I adore Rob.
I don't consider myself a music snob, because I have been known to jam out to Britney Spears and *NSync on occasion, so who am I to judge? But I wouldn't put those people on my playlist. They are for the car when I'm alone or have my fellow Struthropes in tow (we perform all of the *NSync dance moves and sing our parody versions of Britney songs. We can be entertaining--especially when the three of us belting out "Slutty," our version of "Lucky"). But I digress; the point is, I appreciate it when somebody has good taste in music. Rob picked life songs. Good songs. Songs that you would listen to at any age. And he said meaningful things about them; "If I could have a song as a wife..." and "This song just hurts, it's so beautiful." How could you not love him when he says things like that?
Here are Taylor's picks:
1. "Smother Me" by The Used "I love the Used and this is my favorite song of theirs. The song expresses the pain experienced when that special someone is not around. The song takes me to a place where I want nothing more than to be with her."
2. "Best I Ever Had" by State of Shock "I believe you never really know what you have until it’s gone. I’ve learned to enjoy every moment and live life to the fullest because after it’s over, you want it back. The words in this song strongly describe the feelings that occur when you lose someone you love.”
3. "Drops of Jupiter" by Train "This is one of my father's favorite songs. He's played this song ever since I was young. I kind of got addicted to it throughout the years. If you don't like it, you can blame it on him."
4. "Never Knew" by The Rocket Summer "This song symbolizes the importance of having someone in your life you can trust and look up to. There are many people in my life I can relate this song to."
5. "The Saints Are Coming (Live from New Orleans)" by U2 & Green Day "U2 is probably my all-time favorite band and this song is one of my favorites. I thought the idea of creating a song with Green Day was absolutely genius and it turned out to be great!"
6. "Put Your Hands Up In The Air!" by Danzel "As annoying as this song may be, I have many great memories behind it. A friend and I made a music video to this song for school and it was absolutely hilarious. We actually got 100 percent on it!"
7. "Let It Rock" by Kevin Rudolf and Lil' Wayne "This is just one of those roll-your-window down, blast-the-music-while-you're driving-down-the-highway songs. It really pumps me up for some reason."
8. "Fall For You" by Secondhand Serenade “This song is an emotional song about a boy falling in love with a girl. I first heard this song on the radio it captured my attention so I went home and downloaded it from iTunes.”
9. "Addicted" by Enrique Iglesias "This is one of my favorite romantic songs. I’m a sucker for romance songs since I’m a hopeless romantic. The song starts out quiet, a little sad and becomes more powerful as it progresses."
I know Failcob is young, but come on. I feel secondhand embarrassment right now. And in addition, I resent the fact that he made us all feel old with his comment about "Drops of Jupiter." And something is wrong with the world if 16-year-old boys are picking Enrique Iglesias songs for their playlist. I'm not saying he's gay, I'm just saying--that's a bit odd. The majority of these songs suck majorly. The only thing thing that sucks worse than his playlist is his explanation of why he picked these songs. "As annoying as this song may be" ???? WTF? If it's annoying, why would you put it on there?
Also, any guy who goes around in jeans and no shirt and takes pictures is a tool.
In the words of Rob as Art, "Just shut up with your face".
Have a great day!
Team Edward!

Elle Bunny

YouTube: How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I'm sure that if Elizabeth Barrett Browning had been lucky enough to have access to YouTube back in her day, that is how the poem would have started. Don't you just love YouTube? Some of my favorite videos recently have been the literal 80's videos. If you haven't seen them already, check out this video for "Take on Me" and you'll see what I mean.

That's almost as good as this interpretation.

Here's the literal version of "Head Over Heels," by Tears for Fears, which is one of the most awesome videos from the 80s. I love the monkey and the librarian's glasses are fierce.

I also thought I would throw in this jewel-it doesn't sound like it was done by the same people, but I will always seize an opportunity to Rick Roll you!

I also took a trip down memory lane today and watched the "Shoes" video. I adore Kelly.

My friend Meredith had an awesome Halloween party this year. She dressed up as Minnie Mouse, I dressed up as a Pirate Wench (Mr. Bunny was a Pirate) and Meredith's co worker's boyfriend came dressed as Kelly. Here is a picture of us with Kelly/Gabe.

Too funny.
So if you are wondering

Where's Rob?

you aren't the only one. He's hard to keep up with these days since he's on the Hot Topic tour. Yesterday he was in Dallas, but unfortunately I was stuck at work. I'm glad to here that no noses were broken at this signing. Well played, Dallas. Thanks for representing Texas well (hopefully).

Here is an awesome interview that Rob did while he was in Dallas. The guy who interviewed him seems so nice.

Rob cracks me up. The blue roof section of Dallas. LOL.

In other Dallas news, Kidd Kraddick and his crew almost got arrested when they had Sexy Jack, the resident British guy, walk around and pretend to be Rob Pattinson. Hilarity ensued! Check out the coverage here:

kiddlive.com

I have recently joined a group on livejournal called hothobolove. It is dedicated to the loveliness that is Rob Pattinson and Tom Sturridge. Members of the group are called Plaids. The club is really too funny. Here is a YouTube Video made by two Plaids impersonating Tom Stu and RPattz. Pretty dead on in my opinion.

It is amazing how many people are dedicated to the love between these BFFs. One girl came to the San Francisco signing wearing a shirt with two hearts on her boobs that said Tom Stu Love U. She was obviously a Plaid. My SanFran RPattz Experience (pics included)

These pictures recently came out of Rob with costar Anna Kendrick (AKA Jessica), Nikki Reed (AKA Rosalie) and some guy. The only one of interest in my opinion is this one:

Gene Simmons, anyone? Also, all I can think about is how much the Jessica in the books would enjoy this.

Finally, check this out!

Twilight Soundtrack Takes #1 Billboard Spot

So cool. The movie hasn't event come out yet.

Only 8.5 more days. BTW, I officially got 11/21 off, as did my coworker. It is now officially Twilight Day.

100 blogs ago, I was a wee lass without a care in the world.

Just kidding. But do you ever look back when you reach a milestone and think, how did that happen? That's how I feel right now. I can't believe I've written 100 posts about celebrities, life, cabbage patch dolls, hair dye, 90210 1.0 & 2.0, Steel Magnolias, reality television, music, books, my beloved Twilight, etc, etc. And if you have been nice enough to read any of the blogging I've done in the last six months, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Especially those of you (Pinky and Meredith) who have read them all. So to commemorate this special occasion (and yes, I make an occasion out of everything) I want to discuss the wonderful questionnaire that James Lipton uses on "Inside the Actors Studio." I love that show, and that has always been my favorite part. I think the answers say a lot about a person. The questionnaire concept was originated by French television personality Bernard Pivot, after the Proust Questionnaire. So today I will answer the questions, and I would love it if you would answer the questions as well!

1.What is your favorite word?
My favorite word is grace. All the meanings are beautiful. I love its meaning in religion, I love the idea of social graces or someone being graceful. It is also the name of my favorite album of all time. And it is my favorite girl's name.

What is your least favorite word?
Slaughter. Such an awful word. I don't know why it bothers me so much, but it just sounds ugly and has bad connotations. There is a street named Slaughter in Austin and every time I see it I make a face. The location we got married at had a place behind it that was named after a family with the last name Slaughter so it had that name and arrow pointing back on the sign leading in. They took it off about two months before my wedding, by the Grace of God. I'm not sure what happened, I never asked why, but I was a happy girl.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
I love excitement and enthusiasm! It makes me feel really happy when somebody is passionate about something.

What turns you off creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
A Sense of Entitlement. No, the world does not revolve around you. You can't get everything you want and sometimes you have to work really hard for what you do get. Deal with it.

What sound or noise do you love?
This one is difficult--I would say it's a tie between laughter and Mr. Bunny playing guitar.

What sound or noise do you hate?
Burping. Ew.

What is your favorite curse word?
F**K. So versatile. It can be a verb, noun, adjective, etc.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
So many. I would love to be a homebound teacher. I would love to be a pizza delivery girl (don't judge--it would be fun. You drive around, listen to music, and drop off yummy treats at people's homes.) I love seeing how people live. I would love to be a wedding planner and a travel agent.

What profession would you not like to do?
I would not like to be President. Too much pressure.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
Welcome Home.

What about you? Please answer at least some of these questions in a comment! I would love to read it!
In the
Twilight Zone,
They tried to mob Rob in San Francisco, his first stop on the Hot Topic tour, but even though it appeared to be cancelled at one point, apparently he still went on to do the Q&A and autograph signing. According to this video, Mum Pattinson was worried about him and I don't blame her. Haven't we learned anything since the unfortunate mall mobbing of Luke Perry in the 90's ?
Young girls+malls+hot teenage idols=Chaos
I know it must be terrifying for Rob since he seems to think someone is out to shoot or stab him when he's in a crowd.
(Caution: the news anchors are clueless and condescending towards Twilighters. Consider yourself warned.)

It's also Twilight Tuesday over at MTV, and they interviewed the lovely and talented Kristen Stewart.

I adore KStew.
Have a great day and thanks for reading!

Elle Bunny

Celebrities I love for no good reason

Are there people that you love on sight for no good reason? Are there celebrities you love in spite of their faults? I guess that's what being a fan is. Whenever I think of the devotion we sometimes show to our favorite celebrities, I always think of my friend Justin. He explains his adoration for Mariah Carey by exclaiming, "I stuck with her through 'Glitter'!" Haven't we all stuck with people we love, whether they be members of our family, friends, or our favorite celebrity, through their "Glitter" period? Sometimes it's hard, but it makes the bond that much deeper once that time in their life is over. And you know somebody loves you if they have stuck with you through your own "Glitter" moment.
I don't have some great explanation for my love for these people. They just make me happy.
I love Posh and Becks. I love that he sounds like Oliver Twist and she sounds a lot more intelligent that she looks. I love that she barely sang as a part of the Spice Girls. I love that she looks like a Fembot and that he is a raging Metrosexual. I love that in this picture, the crazy boots she's wearing don't have heels.
I know a lot of people find them annoying. And I know these aren't really profound reasons to like someone. But there good enough reasons for me.
Moving on, I love Kathryn Morris AKA Lilly Rush from "Cold Case."I love that she is such a badass. I love that Meredith Baxter plays her drunken mom on the show. I love that I know nothing about her personal life. I love that she wears her hair up most of the time on the show--something rarely seen on prime time television. I love that she is a member of the paleforce like me.
I adore Paul Harvey. I love the rest of the story. I have enjoyed it since I was a little girl. There is something about Paul's voice that is so comforting. I also love that when he reads the news he announces what page he's on. Do we really need to know his page number? No. But I love that he says it.
I love me some Sylvia Browne.I'll be the first to admit that Sylvia Browne is full of crap. But I like her. I like her long fake nails. I love that she's written 50 books about stupid stuff like how to contact your dead pet. I love that she claims we all have spirit guides and they never have a name like Jenny--its always Francine or Mario (maybe they get named at the CPK factory). I love that she is so convicted in her beliefs that when somebody tells her that she is dead wrong she looks at them like they are the crazy one.
I love Haley Williams from Paramore. I love that Haley has bright red hair. I love that she has an awesome voice. I love that she and her band are very strong Christians but don't feel the need to shove it down everybody's throat all the time. I love that she blogs a lot. I love that she is from the Nashville area but you wouldn't know it by listening to her music. I love that she loves Twilight and has two awesome songs on the soundtrack that they wrote for the movie. I love that she is only 20 and seems more well-adjusted than most 40-somethings in the business.
I love Maury Povich.I love that he is married to Connie Chung (aka Connie Chunk--that was what I understood her name to be until I was like 12). I love that almost all of his shows revolve around paternity tests and girls running backstage screaming because the fifth guy that they brought on the show was not the father. I love the concerned paternal look on Maury's face when he goes backstage to comfort said girl and let her know that they will help her find the guy. I love his shows about weird phobias, such as the girl afraid of cotton balls . I love his shows about women whose husbands control them and won't let them open the blinds when they are home alone. I love his 'Is it a He or a She?' Beauty Pageants. And more than anything,
I Love
Fat Babies on Maury.

Speaking of celebrities that I love unconditionally,
Where's Rob?
Well, after the cast of Twilight taped the episode of the new MTV show "Spoilers" (airing on Friday 11/14 at 7:30 PM) in LA, Kristen, Nikki & Rob were all whisked away. Next thing we know we see this picture of him coming out of the Hollywood Bowl on the same night,

where he went to see Van Morrison, his musical idol. The girl he is with is most likely either related to him or works for him and she is wearing Docs and an Edward Cullen button. Funny.
Anyway, Rob and Kristen have also been doing a lot of press for the movie. Here are two of my favorite interviews with Rob, one done by a fan, and one done by Variety. I love both!

In closing, during an interview with Extra, Rob addressed the rumors that he proposed to Kristen several times on set.
Interviewer: I read that you were following Kristen around for days, proposing to her? Is that true?
Rob: Oh yeah. We were going to get married for a long time.
Interviewer: What about her boyfriend?
Rob: (laughing) Who cares?
Interviewer: (laughing) What ABOUT her boyfriend?
Rob: (laughing) Yeah, what ABOUT her boyfriend?
Interviewer: Do you really have a crush on her?
Rob: I have no idea. I mean, she's a really good friend of mine.
Interviewer: What do you mean you have no idea?
Rob: I was in some kind of weird world for 5 months, convincing yourself .......... it's kind of awkward now. It took me a long time to get out of it. It took me like 2 months to stop introducing her as my fiancée. Even to her boyfriend.
This is priceless. It warms my heart.

The Silver Fox is Friday's Fun Fearless Male

I just love Anderson Cooper. He is very good at reporting the news, and he actually seems to have a heart. Here is a video of him during his coverage of Hurricane Katrina:
One of my favorite things in the world is when Anderson will go on one of his rants about celebrities or a reality show he is watching. See the following video, where he goes off on the Lohans:

Here's another gem--this is when he found out Britney was pregnant with her second baby:

Watch the following to see Anderson make fun of Star Jones. It's very amusing.

The last week has been super busy for AC. Not only did her cover the election, he spoke with Will.i.am via hologram. Before that he spoke to Ellen on her show via satellite about the election and most importantly, NeNe from Real Housewives of Atlanta.

He is so funny. Although, he needs to learn how to pronounce NeNe's name.
Upon hearing about Anderson's love for her, NeNe responded with this:
NeNe said to E!'s Marc Malkin, "I told my husband, 'You know Anderson Cooper? He spoke about me.' And he said, 'Anderson Cooper? The guy with the white hair? No, he didn't!' We think it's great. We love it.
"I would just talk to him and keep it real. Let's just get down and dirty and talk about whatever. I'd wear a nice little top, since he's talking about my chest. I don't know if he's had any brown sugar."
I would recommend that you are not tardy for that party Anderson.
So what made Anderson the wonderful man that he is today?
Cooper was born on June 3, 1967 in New York City, the younger son of the writer
Wyatt Emory Cooper and the artist, designer, writer, and heiress Gloria Vanderbilt, granddaughter of Cornelius Vanderbilt II of the prominent Vanderbilt Family of New York. Here is a video of him with his mom before Mother's Day:
Too cute! Anyway, Anderson has been through struggle just like all of us. Cooper's older brother, Carter Vanderbilt Cooper, committed suicide on July 22, 1988, at age 23, by jumping from the 14th-floor terrace of Vanderbilt's New York City penthouse apartment. Carter's suicide is apparently what sparked Anderson to become a journalist:

Loss is a theme that I think a lot about, and it’s something in my work that I dwell on. I think when you experience any kind of loss, especially the kind I did, you have questions about survival: Why do some people thrive in situations that others can’t tolerate? Would I be able to survive and get on in the world on my own?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, my love for Anderson Cooper knows no bounds.
Let's hear it for Anderson Cooper, Friday Fun Fearless Male!
In the
Twilight Zone,
there's way too much going on right now for me to even begin to cover. All I can say is that Rob was deliciously awkward yesterday on TRL. And Entertainment Weekly is coming out with 3 new Twilight Covers:
Way to go EW! Rob actually looks cute (as opposed to this atrocity)I couldn't wait for my magazine to come on Monday, so I read the article from scans that other Twilighters helpfully uploaded. Rob makes me sad. He lives on Pepperoni Hot Pockets and Peach Snapple and they talk about how he was overheard proposing to Kristen numerous times on set. Then they talk about how KStew's been dating Oregano since she was 16.
KStew-what is wrong with you?
I will leave you with the yummy Twilight goodness that is the Behind the Scenes Vanity Fair video.

And here's some more behind the scenes footage that ran on Entertainment Tonight.

When KStew jumps into RPattz's arms it brings me hope that someday they will be together. Or at least sleep with each other. They have way too much sexual tension not to.

Have a great weekend!

Love,
Elle Bunny
