Ellen Degeneres is Friday's Fun Fearless Female!

There are about a million and one reasons why Ellen is fun and fearless. She's not afraid to make fun of herself and other people, but it's never in a mean way. She came out as a lesbian on TV at a time when no one else had. Everyone hated the show after that, and it was cancelled. She spent a few years off of TV, then came back with her amazing talk show. On her show she dances like there's no one watching. Her being gay is just a fact on the show; she doesn't make an issue out of it. But she's not afraid of standing up for what she believes in. She's one of the most recent models for Cover Girl Cosmetics. And she campaigned her way into being on the cover of December 2009's issue of "O" with Oprah (if memory serves, Oprah has only shared the cover of with one other woman-Michelle Obama). Ellen generally makes the mornings of the many people who watch her better.

Most importantly, Ellen is funny.
